Election Update

General Election

Our community's active participation in the General Election is crucial. Electronic

ballots were emailed out on May 22, and voting closed on June 3, 5:00 pm. For those

without email access, paper ballots were mailed out.

The results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on June 26, 2024, starting at 7 pm at the Firehouse, adjacent to the Community Center.

The candidates are Chris Barajas, Phil Hewett, Don Moore, and John Rothengast.

Special Election

On May 13, at 1:00 pm, President Phil Hewett and Vice President John Rothengast

were removed of their duly elected board positions without cause at the Special Meeting.

The petition vote was 659 votes in favor of removing the two directors and 621 votes

against, less than a 2% margin. The remaining FHPOA Board of Directors chose not to

fill the vacancies created for the remainder of these two director terms because the

general election was six weeks away. Following the announcement of the results of the

Special Petition vote, the remaining directors met and elected Gayle Albertini as

President and Tina McLamb as Vice-President to serve until officers are elected at the

first directors meeting after the FHPOA annual meeting in June.
