On October 13, 14, and 15 members of the Fairfield Harbour Pickleball Club competed in the State Senior Games held at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, NC. Mixed doubles were played on the 13th, women's doubles/men's singles on the 14th, and men's doubles/women's singles on the 15th.

Ellen McElree and her women's doubles partner Mary Peeler won the silver medal in their age division.
Leigh Rosalyn won the silver medal in her age division for women's singles.
Rick and Julie Finlayson competed in mixed doubles along with Matt and Michelle Esmacher. In women's doubles, Michelle Esmacher and Julie Finlayson competed; their husbands Matt Esmacher and Rick Finlayson competed in men's doubles as well. This was the first trip to State Senior games for both couples.
All Fairfield Harbour Pickleball Club participants had qualified for the State Senior Games back in April at the Neuse River Senior Games.
