The Fairfield Harbour Pickleball Club held an event on January 3rd to introduce glow-in-the-dark pickleball! Organizers had previously tested out black lights and glow supplies to ensure all would work properly.
Participants braved the cold and players wore safety vests, applied glow tape to their paddles, and played on courts lined with glow tape. Those watching were able to sit in the covered pavilion under a fun disco light! Donated glow-in-the-dark banners and star garland dressed up the courts as well.
We had a great turnout and those in attendance had a great time playing, watching, and enjoying some hot cider on that cold night!
FHPC plans to arrange more Glow Nights for club members even more fun!
